Star Wars Solo Round 2 with Matt, Rachel, and Danny

It was a good thing I returned Matt's missed call last night, cause today turned out to be a great day. Matt invited me for alil hangout time and a round 2 for the Star Wars Solo movie. Wasn't sure if I wanted to since having to have lunch with the family mid afternoon, and knowing that if I hung out with Matt later would kill off the day quickly, but.....Matt has always been a good friend to me for many many years and hanging out with him is quite difficult so I decided to spend this day off with my old friend. I also told Matt that Danny was off as well, and since they haven't seen each other for so long, he wanted me to make sure to invite him as well. After getting off the phone with Matt I passed along the invite to Danny and his response wasn't a pleasant one when he said no. He heard many reviews of "Solo" and wasn't interested in watching it soon, so I told him that it would be nice for him to see Matt since he haven't seen him for years and yet still Danny gave me a resounding no. As I went upstairs he then changed his mind to again an unpleasant yes. A very obligated "yes" so I told him that if he didn't want to go and then he doesn't have to go. But he still insisted that he'd go and honestly I didn't want him to go anymore if he had that attitude. After telling Matt that Danny and I would go, Danny told me the reason why he was like that and it wasn't really anything personal. Just a reason that there was something he had to do in his game that he's been playing and that his mentality of seeing Matt became a bit more positive, giving me more of the relief and comfort of having Danny with me for the rest of the day.

After lunch with the family we stopped by the Starbucks on Kirkman to get coffee and as I went in I saw P. Baek that I served under at FKPCO. I believed he saw me walking in, vaping away on my vape, and since I left FKPCO with bad terms with each other, I saw him turning his back on me, hunched over to avoid myself spotting him as I already saw him. Did I want to say hello? No. There was just too much damage between us that there was no value in meeting. It would be comfortable for the both of us, so I ignored, got my coffee and we left. Theres nothing more I want to talk about that.

As we got close to Matt's house in Altamonte, Danny started to talk about how its been too long since him and Matt saw each and started to reminisce his days with Matt. I told Danny that we've known Matt for so long that seriously we the Lee brothers have an absolute rich history with him. When we all met at his place, Matt and Danny instantaneously gave each other time to talk and catch up, while I took my time to catch with Rachel whom I haven't seen since the opening night of Star Wars Last Jedi. I knew her and Matt was having a very dark time in their long relationship and I wanted to hear her side of the story and wanted to do what I can to support her as well. Support their relationship. I don't think I remember the last time I had a serious and quality conversation with her. The overall time with them was superb today. Danny was having a good time and so was I. Watching "Solo" for the second time was fantastic as I picked up on more things that I didn't catch the first time and now even appreciate and like the movie even more. A good day it was. A good day.
