Small Gifts Of Appreciation

Through my whole life there have been people and friends that I have become close with in one day and gone the next. Whether it was my fault or theirs, it has become a lifelong heartbreak that I had to face and go through. Thus for I have become ever so trained to evaluate my worth in the friendship that I have for those that call me their friend. And with the small circle of friends that I do have, I cannot forget the little things that they do and have done for the sake of friendship and for that it touches the very center of what happiness is in my life. So whenever I go shopping or buy things for myself, I see things that I can get for those certain friends leading me to spend what I can and want just to show my appreciation for who they are in my life. Today I bring snacks to friends and see if I could bring a smile on their faces from just this small gesture of appreciation.
