Contacted By An Old Friend

Almost 12 yrs has passed since we last spoke or saw each other. There was a time in my life when Kris was seriously my closest and best friend. Partner in crime. Always had each others back and been there for one another at a time when our lives were spiraling in the crap shoot. He's an old friend since my days with the Kboyz and truly him and I have a very long history. But unfortunately life took us in our own separate ways whether it was the cause between a rift between him and my brother Danny, or the fact that him and I were uncontrollably drowning ourselves in alcoholism and depression that the possibility of us no longer being of good use to one another may have all been that possibility.

He wasn't there during Dan's funeral and burial so the old group reconnection wasnt really complete without him, but whether he was there or not I believe "time" may have already decayed our relationship. I'm not sure how things would go back to the way it was but, it's alright. Him and I-our separate ways, was the best thing for us anyways. I believe it had its purpose for making us better men without each other.
