Another Unnecessary Hobby
WARNING. Venting over Disney PINS!!!
I'm a collector. Always have since I was in middle school. And this?! This thing is just another unnecessary beginning to an already expensive hobby. Ever since Ella my baby cousin got introduced to "Disney's trading pins" by my brother a few days ago, I slowly watched her at every theme park looking for that right pin to meet her satisfaction and match her girly princess lanyard. She was hooked. Every corner gift store we went to in the park, she searched, she eyed intently at each different pins. Of course as her uncle how could I or my brother resist from buying her theeese little...stuuupid...hilariously expensive(FOR PINS!) PINSSSS!!! THERE JUST DAMN PINS!!!! But each pin as it gleamed from the reflective light showed it's own individual design and fun artistry that you couldn't help but want a closer look and inspect its intricacy. And as much as I've resisted to be drawn into these interesting, fun pins....I GAVE IN!!! Watching Ella smile on receiving a new pin from either myself, my brother, or her mom and having a thrilling experience of opening each plastic film and gawking at the new found pin and ecstatically pinning them on the preferred spot of the lanyard was just too joyous to not witness. I wanted that feeling. I wanted that glimmer in my eyes. I wanted....PINS!!!! I'm an old man who wants pins??
Ughhh...another unnecessary hobby that I've picked up. I'm damned. Lol.
...Whelp gotta go find some exclusive Disney pins.
