Deeply Happy For You

"Running into you at Target tonight was one that was surprising and unexpected. I know you and I have gone through a lot together, those hard times for you, those hard times for me and yet as much as it was hard for the both of us we still had each other to aide and help overcome. I know there were moments when you and I inadvertently became frustrated and a bit more stressed with each others actions, opinions, and perspectives but it was all the same direction of us wanting for each other happiness and confidence in ourselves. Not to hurt one another, not to hurt our relationship but to further our relationship, our friendship. Though it may have been skewed a bit, and that I had purposely without your consent put distance between us so that we may process all that we have said and done for one another and climb out of our bad situations with our own strength without pushing each other forward. And after all that I've heard from you tonight for that short time as we walked together through the aisles at Target I finally got the confirmation that it was best that you and I had some space away from each other. You had a different smile, the tone of your voice felt more pleasing and cheerful, you spoke differently about the one that you like and seeing in comparison to the way you spoke about your ex or any other of your previous experiences, you looked brighter, and most of all happy. I know I may have not looked like it from the outside cause....its been awhile since we last spoke, and I was a bit shocked by this little change in you but, I was happy for you. I am deeply happy for you."
