Farewell Stan

You were the biggest part of my childhood life, and even to this day you still are. I still remember as a kid back when I lived in New York, I would always go to the nearest place that would have comic books and read the latest issues of The X-Men, Spiderman, and Punisher. It was during that time when I knew that the creator of these awesome characters was absolutely a genius.  I looked up to you, I even picked up the love of drawing because of you. I fell in love with the characters Wolverine and Cyclops because of you. My creativity and imagination was because of you. So many times at conventions I had the chance to meet you, but kept putting you off for a "next time." But now, two days after my birthday it has become too late and now you are gone. You will be mourned and missed, but you will last forever as a legendary figure and idol in my life.
