A Big Group Hug Of A Night

After having a talk with Taylor and him reaching out to me I went out to my usual meet-up spot with friends. Knowing that I had to apologize to so many of them for worrying about me after my stupid stunt at the usual bridge last week, I went with the mindset of putting on my "I'm okay" mask and convince them that I'm my usual self that they are familiar with and not some whimpy, emotional type of man. The moment I saw Kelly I immediately apologized yet she cut me off mid sentence saying "Don't apologize Paul!" She continued by reminding me of how much I am loved by everyone that I don't realize. Mirl, another guy I met a few months back at the club also came up to me after the talk I got from Kelly, "Paul I have a bone to pick with you." Not knowing what I've done to offend him I got a bit worried and with much of a surprise he heard about my stint and he went on telling how great of a guy I am to him and to so many that I what I did, and think about is stupid. He reached out to me and it continued through hte night from Jeannie, and even Jen(Val).


It was definitely a good night and it really felt good to know that I mattered to people. Felt like a night of a big group hug that I so needed for the mind and the heart. Kelly got a bit drunk tonight but it didn't stop her from reaching out to me even more by the end of the night before I left the place. Thank you Kell. Thank you Mirl, Darin, Brandi, Jeannie, and Jen. Of course you too Taylor my brotha. You guys really touched the heart and that means a lot to me.
